(Feature)
Overseas internships are broadly categorized into two types: those hosted by universities and research institutions, and those hosted by corporations and other organizations. This page introduces programs that focus on either Category 1 below or Category 2 when facilitated through an overseas university.
1. University-Based Internships (Research Internships)
Participants join a university laboratory to engage in research activities alongside professors and graduate students.
Target: Primarily students in STEM fields, though opportunities in the Social Sciences are also available.
Activities: Conducting experiments, data analysis, and assisting with manuscript/paper preparation.
Objectives: Deepening specialized knowledge, establishing a stepping stone for future graduate studies (Master’s or Ph.D.), and engaging in collaborative research.
2. Corporate Internships (Professional/Corporate Internships)
Participants are placed within local companies, startups, public institutions, or NGOs to engage in practical, hands-on work.
(Reports of Past Participants)
Some reports of past participants are available in the past students' reports page.
We are collecting reports from students who participated in Internship Programs by Overseas Universities. Would you consider writing one to help students who will study abroad in the future? The length is flexible, and your report will be featured on the study abroad report page excluding any personal information.
